Michael Jackson's Will vs. the Michael Jackson Family Trust
Is there any significance in the difference between the date Michael Jackson's Last Will and Testament was signed (July 7, 2002) and the date the Michael Jackson Family Trust was amended and restated (March 22, 2002)? Perhaps. We can only speculate that Michael Jackson originally updated his estate plan in March 2002 and then decided to make additional changes to the plan less than four months later. In other words, even if Michael Jackson made changes to the Michael Jackson Family Trust after he amended and restated it in March 2002, the name and date of the trust still remained the same. On the other hand, a will must be dated on the date it's created. Thus, it's possible that Jackson could have amended the Michael Jackson Family Trust or even completely restated its terms months or even years later. But ultimately if Michael Jackson's estate plan works the way it's supposed to, then the provisions of the Michael Jackson Family Trust won't be made public.

I think it’s sad that families want to fight over a dead man’s goods. They should be happy to have the memories alone!
