Celebrity Real Estate

Often times when a celebrity dies or is placed under a court-supervised guardianship or conservatorship, one of the first things that happens is the liquidation of their real estate. Sometimes this is due to the fact that celebrity has hit hard times financially and the real estate needs to be sold just to pay all of the mounting bills; sometimes this is due to the fact that the celebrity owned several homes at the time of his or her death and the celebrity's heirs simply do not want to continue to maintain all of the homes; sometimes this is due to the fact that the real estate needs to be sold in order to help pay the estate tax bill since the IRS or state taxing authority will not accept a piece of real estate as payment and instead wants cold, hard cash; or, as with the home where Michael Jackson died and the home where Britney Spears had a nervous breakdown, the property just has bad vibes.

I have always enjoyed viewing different styles and types of homes and studying architecture is a hobby of mine, so any time that I can view pictures of a celebrity's home, whether dead or alive, I jump at the chance.
